Lemsteraak Bries :
The Lemsteraak BRIES was built in Amsterdam in 1915. Many of today's old Lemsteraken were fishing vessels or passenger and cargo ships before they were converted into yachts. The Bries was designed as a charter yacht from the beginning and is one of the first charter boats in the Netherlands. Below you can also see some photos of a sailing trip of the Lemsteraak BRIES in 1918.
For this reason, this flat-bottomed ship was built during construction with a very spacious interior, the gangways are 70 cm wide ... after a complete overhaul in 2010/2011, the Aak is again available for 8 charter guests. Equipped with VHF radio, chart plotter and the latest water charts, the sailing area of the lakes and the Wadden Sea is open to you.
The ship can be steered hydraulically with a steering wheel. Below deck, a large saloon and a fully equipped kitchen invite you to enjoy a comfortable stay. This flat-bottomed sailboat has 2 cabins for 2 persons each and 1 cabin for 4 persons.
