Lemsteraak ZEPHYRUS sailing from Heeg in Friesland
Lemsteraak ZEPHYRUS, 6-8 persons, under full sails
Lemsteraak ZEPHYRUS :
The Lemsteraak ZEPHYRUS is originally built as a yacht, 1965 at the shipyard in Balk. The ship has a gaff mainsail, a jib and a fore sail. The ZEPHYRUS is equipped with hydraulic steering and a 115 HP diesel engine.
The yacht has a very spacious cockpit and a comfortable saloon. The ship is usually rented without a skipper. In this case at least two persons must have sufficient and demonstrable experience with flat-bottomed vessels. A radio licence is required for the use of the VHF radio. If you do not have sufficient sailing experience, you can book a skipper for your trip on request. Please note then that there is only room for a maximum of six guests.
The ship is suitable for beautiful sailing trips along the historic harbour towns on the IJsselmeer. You can also experience the intimate atmosphere of the lakes and canals of Friesland and the Wadden Sea with its beautiful islands is also not far away.
The flat-bottomed ship is issued by the owners Akke and Eeuwe de Jong in Heeg. They have a ship maintenance and engine service company, so guests can always be sure to get a safe and technically perfect ship.
